T-shirts for tall and short men in India

Most T-shirts in India come in one length. That works if you are close to average height, and not otherwise. At Better Basics, most men's T-shirts, polos, shirts and bottoms come in three lengths: Short, Regular and Tall. You pick your size for the chest and shoulders, then the length for your height.

Why one length doesn't fit everyone

A size letter sets the chest, and the length is fixed to match. So a man who is 5'5" with a medium chest gets a T-shirt that falls to mid-hip and bunches when tucked. A man who is 6'2" with the same chest gets one that rides up when he lifts his arms. Going up a size fixes the length and ruins the fit everywhere else.

Frequently asked questions

I'm between sizes. Should I size up for length?

No. Size for your chest and shoulders, then choose Tall if you need the extra length.

Is the Short length a cropped T-shirt?

No. It is a regular T-shirt cut 2 inches shorter in the body, so it sits at the waist on a shorter frame.

Do the sleeves change with the length?

No. Only the body length changes. Sleeves and shoulders follow your size.
