How to find your true size: an Indian fit guide

Sizing is where a lot of online shopping goes wrong, especially in India, where "standard" sizing is often drawn for a different body. We design our fits specifically for Indian preferences. Here is how to land your right size, every time.

Step 1: Know your measurements

Take a soft measuring tape over a thin layer of clothing. Measure your chest at the fullest point, your natural waist, and note both. These two numbers do most of the work.

Step 2: Read the size chart, not the label

A "medium" means something different at every brand. Every Better Basics product has its own size chart with real measurements. Match your numbers to it, and check it per style, since a relaxed top and a slim tee are cut differently.

Step 3: Choose the fit you want

Relaxed Roomy and drapey, sits away from the body. For an easy, oversized look.

Regular True to size and balanced. Not tight, not loose. The safe everyday choice.

Slim Closer to the body and tapered. For a sharper, fitted silhouette.

Step 4: Between two sizes?

Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your chest, under your arms and across your shoulder blades, keeping it level and snug but not tight.
